The Mahube Care Centre is a six-bed facility providing free short-term nursing care to HIV+ patients from marginalised communities. The Centre is a haven for patients in temporary need due to lack of care at home or their caregivers' needs for respite.

Here the Care Centre offers the following services:

• Two to six weeks of nursing care
• Nutritious food
• A warm, caring environment
• Medical treatment supervised by volunteer doctors
